Data Scientist

Our client is looking for a Mid-Level Data Scientist to join our growing Data Science team.

We’re looking for someone with formal qualifications in a quantitative field and at least 2 years’ experience in data analysis, statistical modelling, and machine learning model design. This role is ideal for a candidate who enjoys working with complex datasets, building behaviour-focused models, and turning data into clear, actionable business insight.

Requirements:

• Formal qualification in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline
• 2+ years’ experience in data analysis and model design
• Strong Python and SQL data analysis skills
• Strong understanding of statistical methods
• Experience developing and deploying machine learning models
• Ability to analyse complex datasets and identify meaningful patterns and opportunities
• Strong communication skills, with a focus on storytelling through data to drive business decisions

Bonus experience

• Exposure to the financial services sector
• Experience working in developing economies

• Analyse large and complex datasets to uncover trends, behaviour, and opportunities
• Design, build, and refine behaviour-focused machine learning models
• Support model deployment and ongoing improvement
• Translate technical findings into practical recommendations for business stakeholders
