• Production experience in Go and Node.js, with working knowledge of the other, and a willingness to grow in both.
• Solid understanding of backend architecture and distributed systems.
• Strong experience building scalable, high‑throughput systems.
• Strong experience with microservices, REST and gRPC APIs, and event‑driven architecture.
• Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, for example PostgreSQL, Redis, and similar.
• Real‑time systems, message queues such as Kafka, and WebSocket‑based services.
• Understanding of performance profiling and optimisation in production environments.
• Comfortable working in a fast paced, evolving environment, and collaborating across teams.
