Our client is a multi-family office that offers tailored financial services to high-net-worth individuals and families. With a focus on delivering bespoke solutions in wealth management, estate planning, and investments, they operates in multiple jurisdictions, including Isle of Man, Jersey, Malta, and the UK. The company is PE backed and in an exciting growth phase, driving acquisitions and consequently expanding its financial operations.

We are seeking a proactive and entrepreneurial Head of FP&A to establish and lead the financial planning and analysis function for our client from the ground up. This role is essential for setting up processes, systems, and teams that will support the business’s financial performance and growth strategy across multiple territories.  Responsibilities will include:
•    Build the FP&A function from scratch, including designing and implementing financial systems, processes, and reporting frameworks to support robust financial planning and analysis across the business.
•    Drive financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives and growth plans.
•    Work with all stakeholders, to develop and build the required datacube as the business plans for exit readiness.
•    Oversee the financial integration of recent and future acquisitions, ensuring all reporting is aligned post-acquisition.
•    Develop financial models to drive business growth, refinancing and support M&A decision-making at the senior management level. 
•    Work closely with the CFO and senior leadership, providing financial insights and recommendations that drive business performance and growth.
•    Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop reporting structures to track business performance against financial targets.

Candidate requirements:
•    Proven experience in setting up or restructuring FP&A functions in multi-entity or international environments.
•    Experience working in a fast paced and dynamic environment
•    M&A and Private Equity exposure 
•    Recurring model business-based experience
•    Experience in a people-based business with timesheet capture
•    Expertise in financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, and post-acquisition integration.
•    Ability to drive strategic financial insights and effectively communicate with senior leadership.
•    ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified.
•    3+ years of experience in M&A, corporate finance or a related field.
•    Knowledge of the M&A process, including due diligence and valuation.
•    Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
•    Proven experience in building a datacube.
•    Excellent communication and presentation skills.
•    Ability to work independently and take initiative.
