PR Manager (In-House)
You will join our client as an in-house PR Manager, leading the UK PR strategy for their online poker division. Based in London with hybrid working, you will own media relations, press content, and live event activations, shaping how the brand speaks to a fast-moving audience in a regulated space.
You bring agency experience, strong UK media contacts, and a confident storytelling ability. You enjoy building momentum through earned media and creative brand moments, and you know how to plan PR into big campaigns from day one.
- Media relations: Own and develop relationships with UK press across national, sport, entertainment, lifestyle, and trade titles; pitch stories proactively; act as the primary in-house PR contact for media enquiries.
- Press and content: Write compelling press releases, media packs, reactive statements; identify news angles within campaigns, events, and brand initiatives; ensure messaging is clear and compliant in regulated environments.
- PR-led campaigns and stunts: Lead the ideation and execution of PR stunts and experiential activations with in-house teams, agencies, and logistics partners; collaborate with Marketing, Events, and Social teams to maximise earned media.
- Live events and brand representation: Attend and support live events, coordinate press attendance, manage talent and interview opportunities as relevant.
- Strategy and measurement: Develop PR strategies aligned to brand and commercial objectives; monitor coverage, sentiment, and share of voice; report on campaign performance.
- Collaboration and governance: Manage agency support where required and ensure PR is integrated early in campaign planning.
- Requirements and qualities: You have agency-side PR background with strong UK media contacts, experience with regulated or culturally sensitive sectors, a proven record of national and trade press coverage, and excellent writing and stakeholder skills; you are a self-starter who can work independently and thrive in a fast-paced setting.
Our benefits include a collaborative culture, flexible hybrid working, and opportunities to grow your career with a global team. Relocation is not offered; this role is for local candidates only. If you are excited to shape a high-profile PR programme in a regulated category, you will fit right in.
